Why ByteSell beats Sellix
Sellix is gone. Its domains were seized by international law enforcement in January 2025 and the platform no longer operates. A seizure is not a verdict on the sellers who built stores there, and many of them ran legitimate businesses that simply lost their storefront overnight. What it does mean is that, for now, Sellix cannot run yours.
ByteSell is a live home for that kind of store. It charges 0% platform fees on every plan, sends crypto payments straight to your own wallet, delivers license keys automatically, and gates paid Discord and Telegram access natively, granting it on payment and revoking it when a subscription lapses. Because ByteSell is non-custodial and never holds your money, there is no balance sitting on our servers waiting on anyone’s decision. There is a free plan, and Pro is $29 a month.
Why sellers leave Sellix
Sellix.io and mysellix.io were seized by international law enforcement during Operation Talent in late January 2025, and the platform has been offline since. Sellix, through its corporate site, disputes the action and says no seller funds have been lost. A domain seizure is not a conviction, but the practical reality for a seller is that the service is down and there is no confirmed date for it to return.
Before the seizure, Sellix was a Bologna-based platform with a non-custodial crypto wallet, more than fifty payment options, and license-key delivery, built for the reseller, gaming and crypto niche. A good replacement keeps that shape: it pays you directly rather than holding your funds, accepts crypto to a wallet you control, and delivers keys and files automatically. This list is ordered by how well each option does that, with ByteSell first because it adds a 0% fee and native Discord and Telegram gating on top.
