1. Overview

This is the list of what you cannot do on ByteSell. It applies to every Seller, Buyer, store, and upload, and it is part of the Terms of Service. If you are not sure something is allowed, ask us at support@bytesell.io before you list it.

2. Prohibited products

Do not sell, list, or deliver any of this:

  • Stolen or hacked accounts, credentials, or access.
  • Pirated, cracked, or unlicensed software, media, or other copyrighted work.
  • Malware, viruses, ransomware, spyware, or any malicious code.
  • Stolen data, leaked databases, or dumps of personal or financial information.
  • Fraud tools: phishing kits, carding tools, fake documents, account generators, bypass tools.
  • Child sexual abuse material (CSAM). Zero tolerance, reported to the authorities immediately.
  • Counterfeits, or anything that infringes someone else's IP or trademarks.
  • Controlled substances, drugs, and paraphernalia.
  • Weapons, firearms, ammunition, explosives, and their parts.
  • Anything the payment providers you use prohibit, or that falls in a payment-processor-restricted category.
  • Anything else that is illegal where it is sold or delivered.

3. Prohibited conduct

Whatever you sell, do not use ByteSell to:

  • Commit fraud, or lie about your goods or who you are.
  • Abuse chargebacks or otherwise misuse payment providers.
  • Launder money or move the proceeds of crime.
  • Dodge sanctions or export controls, or deal with sanctioned people or places.
  • Scrape, overload, probe, reverse engineer, or otherwise attack the Platform or its security.
  • Break the law or trample anyone's rights.

4. Enforcement

If we reasonably believe this policy has been broken, or that there is legal or security risk, we can, with or without notice:

  • Remove or disable content, listings, or a store.
  • Freeze a store to stop further sales.
  • Suspend or restrict access to the Platform.
  • Terminate accounts.
  • Report activity to law enforcement or regulators and cooperate with them.

Because we are non-custodial and never hold funds, enforcement is about access and content on the Platform, not money, which moves directly between Buyer and Seller. These calls are at our reasonable discretion and do not waive any other rights we have.

5. Reporting a violation

To report content or activity that breaks this policy, email abuse@bytesell.io. For copyright complaints and other formal notices, see the Abuse & DMCA page.
