ByteSell vs E-junkie

TL;DR
E-junkie is the cheaper product and there is no way around that. Plans run $8 to $40 a month, every one takes 0% per sale, and buyer money lands directly in your own PayPal or Stripe account. What separates them is everything else. ByteSell is a full storefront platform built this decade. E-junkie is a file delivery tool whose product has barely changed since the mid-2000s.
On ByteSell, $29 a month on Pro runs a branded store on your own domain with full analytics, coupons, upsells, a free affiliate program, license-key delivery, crypto paid to your own wallet, native paid Discord and Telegram access, and recurring subscriptions. The free plan runs all of it except the domain. On E-junkie a comparable monthly spend buys buy-now buttons and a storefront page at yourname.e-junkie.com, with storage measured in megabytes on the entry plans.
ByteSell has a free plan, with Pro at $29/month on a 14-day trial that requires a card. E-junkie runs $8 to $40/month depending on storage and product limits, with a 14-day trial that requires no card.
On the published rates, ByteSell Free charges less than E-junkie at every volume, at an average order value of $50. There is no revenue figure where the other one comes out cheaper.

Two decades of product, side by side
ByteSell ships as one complete store. You get a custom domain and modern themes, full analytics on every visit and sale, coupon codes, upsells at checkout, an affiliate program that is free on every plan, license-key delivery for software, crypto checkout that pays your own wallet, and paid Discord and Telegram memberships where access is granted on payment and revoked automatically when it lapses. Recurring subscription billing is in there too, one line item on a long list. All of it sits behind 0% fees, and because ByteSell is non-custodial, every payment settles in accounts you control as merchant of record.
E-junkie covers the 2006 core of that list and little that came after. It sells one-time downloads well and has done so reliably for twenty years. Its storefront is a template page on an e-junkie.com subdomain, and on recurring billing its own documentation is unambiguous.
Our system has no way of handling recurring payments such as a periodic subscription or installment plan.
At the time of writing its pricing and features pages also return 404 errors. A seller who wants any single item on the paragraph above has to bolt on another service or go without it.
Storage math for a downloads business
E-junkie exists to sell downloads, so its storage tiers reward a close read. The $8 plan holds 200 MB and 10 products, and the $10 plan holds 2 GB and 40 products. At $20 a month you reach 8 GB and 150 products, and storage and product count only become unlimited on the $40 plan. For a business whose entire product is files, most of the ladder is tight.
ByteSell Pro is $29 with 50 GB of storage, unlimited products, and single files up to 10 GB, and Business raises that to 250 GB with 25 GB files. A seller with a serious catalog gets over six times the room of E-junkie’s $20 tier for nine dollars more a month, with no cap on how many products fill it. The one rung where E-junkie pulls ahead is the top of its ladder, and that $40 plan earns its place in the section below.
Everything E-junkie charges
ByteSell takes 0% per sale and nothing to pay you out, because your buyers pay your own Stripe, PayPal or wallet directly. Here is what E-junkie charges, each line quoted from its own pages with a link to where it was read.
E-junkie charges nothing per sale and nothing to get paid. Card payments go to the seller's own processor and crypto settles to the seller's own wallet, so there is no balance for a fee to come out of.
Where E-junkie is the better choice
E-junkie is inexpensive and honest about it. Every plan takes 0% per sale and payments settle in your own PayPal or Stripe account, exactly the model ByteSell uses. The delivery mechanics themselves have been battle-tested by two decades of sellers, and if all you need is a buy-now button that hands over a file, it is hard to spend less than $8 a month.
The $40 plan beats ByteSell on raw storage. It is unlimited, so a seller with an enormous library of large files who wants nothing beyond delivery gets more room there than ByteSell’s 250 GB Business plan offers, and pays less for it.
Which one to pick
E-junkie is the right tool when your business is simple file delivery at the lowest possible cost. The $8 entry plan costs a third of ByteSell Pro and the mechanics are proven. If a huge download library is the whole requirement, the $40 unlimited-storage tier wins on raw space.
ByteSell earns the extra $16.99 a month once you want a store around the file. That buys a branded storefront on your own domain and the feature set a 2026 digital business expects, from analytics and affiliates through membership gating to subscriptions, with 50 GB of room for the files themselves. The fee model you came for carries over untouched, since ByteSell takes 0% as well and sends every payment straight to accounts you own.
ByteSell is in early access, so that link goes to the signup list rather than a checkout. The plans and limits described here match the ByteSell pricing page, which has the full breakdown.
